The Thousand Islands Environment (LH) Sub-agency has collected 14.3 cubic meters of garbage, consisting mostly of 8,000 kg of household waste and 6,370 kg of plastic waste, tree branches and styrofoam washed ashore from Tidung Island Pier, South Thousand Islands.

Jakarta's Trash Output Increased During EidBy using nine motorbike carts, the officers transported the garbage piled up at the Jembatan Cinta Pier and the main pier of Tidung Island. Before being transported by the boat, the garbage was collected at Tidung Island TPS.
"Until now the personnel are still struggling with the garbage that kept coming since yesterday afternoon," he stated.
